A woman who claims that the Virgin Mary has been appearing in a pine tree at her Surrey home for over 20 years has been dismissed as a fraud by the Vatican.

And I learned something in the article too. The Vaticanly organization that condemned her apparition is called the “Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.” You may recall its more famous name it had some years ago, the “Inquisition.” Wonder why they changed the name?
