I accomplished another goal on my list of things to do: I went for a walk in the woods during a winter storm. Well, “storm” is a relative term. It qualifies as a storm this winter.
Most of our snow fell overnight. But around 5 pm it started to get grizzly again so I went out. I’m standing on our lake in this photo, you can see the treeline in the background.
There was a nice 20 mph wind out of the north with snow falling and blowing, I love this stuff! You can also observe my new Bears coat I was given, which is a very nice coat as well as a fine endorsement of God’s Team.
After walking across the lake I entered the woods I enjoy trespassing in during storms. It goes straight up onto a ridge that drops off on either side and you can usually get the full force of the wind up there. However, today, for some reason, it was very still back in there. A nice little evening walk.
